We originally bought this faucet not quite one year ago. We got it at Lowe's and paid to have it professionally installed. At first, it was kind of neat and unlike others we didn't have to run through a whole bunch of batteries. But four or five weeks ago the faucet began to drip and wouldn't stop, unless you shut it off manually.Delta sent out some little part, which made no difference. But wait! It gets worse! Eventually, the unit began making some incredible, loud, machine-gun like noise. Water -- if it came out at all -- sputtered with that sound and it would take as long as four or five minutes to manipulate it into a stream of water. We called Delta. Delta sent some other kind of part -- a solenoid or something like that. We had a friend over to help us get it in, but voila -- it wasn't the right part and there was no stabilizer plate. Then the thing just absolutely stopped working at all. No water would come out. Now, all these four weeks later or so, Delta is saying that in "24 to 48 hours" someone will call us. Well, we'd had enough. We called a plumber and had a great (but touchless) Kohler installed -- a $900 investment to replace this hunk of junk. We felt like beta testers for a long time, crawling around under the sink, trying to figure out these enormous diagrams and schematics Delta sent.

Bottom line? Not ready for prime time, at least not in the long run. Faucets should work longer than 11 months, no? And they should produce water, no? They shouldn't make battle field noises, no?

Nice concept. Very poorly executed for long-term use. Hope your mileage varies.

This was sold by Amazon. Part was missing, not sure if it was Amazon's fault or Delta's. Called Delta and they shipped the part out no charge. Faucet itself is great, missing part drops review to 3 stars

I've only had this faucet for a month now, but so far I love it. It's sturdy, looks good, and operates exactly as it should. It's great to be able to wash my hands while cooking without messing up the handle or the hassle of disinfecting after handling chicken, etc. My only complaint is that the touch technology doesn't really work if you have the faucet set at half-strength. I'd prefer to keep it set so that the water doesn't come full strength all the time.
